So v2 of the camper project required a little bit more legwork. I had to remove the middle seats to provide more space in the back. The sleeping platform is based on two slabs of cork board that rest on the trunk and some sort of stand, for these i used my cooler and a smol camp chair.

After a little bit of wrapping and adding an air mattress, the finished product of v2 looks pretty rad:

It’s the perfect height, I’m 5’8” and I can sit upright in the back with still some clearance above my head. 

It’s also super comfy and fun to lay in.
